What measures do you take to ensure my credit card details are safe on your website?
Keeping your details safe, secure and protected is a high priority at Oceanic Gold USA. We use a highly secure SSL connection to transmit your credit card information. This information cannot be intercepted. In addition to that, your credit card information is encrypted, which means it cannot be accessed by anyone.
When is my credit card charged?
Authorization of your credit card is done at the time the order is placed. The actual charging of the card is done when the order is shipped.
Can I make changes or cancel my order?
You may change or cancel your order if it has not been shipped.
How can I check the status of my order?

When will my order be shipped?
Your order will ship within 24 hours of order placement. Your order typically will ship the same day if it is placed before 12 noon PST.
How will I know when my order has been shipped?
You will be sent a Shipment Confirmation Notice by email which will include details of your shipment date and tracking information, if applicable.
Where can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, we will send out a Shipment Confirmation Notice with all the details to you via email. You can also get the same information by visiting the Order Status Page.
Do you collect Sales Tax?
Any order that we ship to in California will be charged sales tax. We do not charge sales tax to orders shipped outside California.

Do you ship internationally?
We only ship within the USA and Canada.
Can I return a product purchased from your website
Returns may be made for store credit or refund if request for return is made within 30 days of purchase.
If the item purchased is unused, unopened, undamaged and in a saleable condition, a full refund or store credit will be issued, minus shipping and handling fees, taxes as well as any other discounts that were availed of at time of purchase.
If you received your product damaged, please email us within 3 days of product receipt at service@oceanicgoldUSA.com and we will arrange for a replacement to be shipped to you. Damaged product will need to be returned back.

Why is Manuka Honey used as one of the main ingredients of all your products?
Honey has been used from time immemorial by our ancestors not only as food but as a salve and healer of wounds. With the advent of anti-biotics, honey took a back seat. Manuka Honey is not only anti-microbial and anti-bacterial, but it is also a humectant, which means it attracts and retains moisture. Hence, Oceanic Gold uses this superfood in all its products.
Can your products be used on skin of any ethnicity?
Yes our products can be used on skin of any ethnicity.
Are your products 100% natural?
Oceanic Gold has used as many natural ingredients as is possible. However, in order to ensure the longevity and maintain the safety of its products, a very minimal amount of safe preservatives has been used.
Do you use sulphates or parabens in your products?
Oceanic Gold DOES NOT use sulphates, parabens, phthalates, or artificial coloring and fragrances in their products. They are also GMO free.
What kind of testing do your products go through?
Each batch of products goes through mandatory physical stability testing to ensure the product stays stable and clear of contaminants after it is opened and used. Each batch of products also goes through microbiology testing to ensure that the preservative system is both present and actively defending the product against commonly found microbes.
These processes ensure that the safety standards are maintained in all our products.
Where does the Manuka Honey you use come from?
The Manuka Honey used by Oceanic Gold is exclusively sourced from the North Island of New Zealand. Manuka Honey is created when bees pollinate the native Manuka Tea Tree Bush. This Manuka Honey is collected from very isolated regions thus ensuring that no cross-contamination occurs. Additionally, since bees fly only within a 3 to 4 mile radius, the hives are very strategically placed to ensure the sustained purity of the honey.
Why are there different bio-activity levels of Manuka Honey?
While there is only one type of Manuka Honey that comes from bees that pollinate the Manuka Tea Tree Bush (Leptospermum Scorparium) in New Zealand there are varying bio-activity levels for each kind. The potency of any batch of Manuka Honey depends on the amount of floral nectar used by the bees to make the honey.
The amount of phyto-chemicals present in the honey determines the level of anti-bacterial potency.
Bio-activity levels (also commonly known as UMF, MGO) is based on the anti bacterial levels in the honey. Hence, the number 20+ rating is generally used in comparison to a 20% solution of antibacterial phenol.

Do you test on animals?
No testing is done on any animal or insect. Additionally Oceanic Gold does not harm animals or insects, including bees in any part of the process of creating its products. The bees are not subject to any kind of shock treatment or irritation and all measure are taken to ensure that the bees are adequately fed.
